At Glowing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, we exist to nurture the next generation, one little smile at a time. We’re more than just a dental practice — we’re a dental home where your kiddo can feel safe, have a blast, and cultivate lifelong healthy habits with a crew that truly cares. We focus on prevention and education, growing alongside you and your child with expert, personalized support and fun-filled memories every step of the way.

Get to Know Dr. Garber

With native roots in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Yamila Garber moved to South Florida at the age of four. Glowing up, she didn’t have the best experience with her childhood dentist. It wasn’t until high school that she switched providers and was forever changed by a dentist who was gentle, kind, and fun. Seeing him interact with his patients, relieve their pain, and restore their confidence solidified Dr. Garber’s decision to care for people’s smiles. Dr. Garber is constantly learning, glowing, and providing her patients with the highest standard of care as a board-certified pediatric dentist.

Dr. Garber earned her Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), and achieved her master’s in biomedical science at Barry University in Miami, FL. She went on to become a dentist at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she was an active member of the Hispanic Dental Association and served as president during her last year. She loved organizing mission trips to the Dominican Republic every summer, treating patients and providing dental supplies for families from surrounding communities. With her big heart for tiny grins, Dr. Garber completed her pediatric dental residency at NYU Langone Hospital in Tampa, FL.

As the owner and founder behind Glowing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Garber is excited to finally return and be able to work in the community she grew up in. Offering a compassionate, kid-friendly dental home for South Florida families is her dream. More than just taking care of teeth, she loves fostering real relationships and making every moment count with the kids in her care. Catch her singing, dancing, and sharing lots of laughs as she teaches her patients all about the importance of good oral hygiene! From her dedication to excellence to her sweet and playful personality, Dr. Garber will go above and beyond to make sure your family feels known and valued on a personal level.

For Dr. Garber, being a mother has been her greatest achievement. When she’s not at the office, you can find her cherishing quality time with her loving husband, Agustin, and three amazing kids, Ethan, Chloe, and Liam. Together, they enjoy spending hours at museums, monkeying around on the playground, and crossing off beautiful bucket-list destinations on family trips.

Establishing a positive attitude towards at-home oral hygiene is the best way to prepare your child for the dentist. Your child’s everyday dental routine can feel more like a party by playing some tunes and brushing your teeth together! You can also set expectations about their visit with kid-friendly books or videos all about the dentist!

To help make that happen, Dr. Garber is thrilled to visit local schools and provide oral hygiene education! Her presentations are interactive and rewarding, so little students all throughout the area can harness healthy habits that stick.
